Does anyone know what happened to the Watercraft Houseboat manufacturer? They built boats in the 70's (aluminum hulls). I am sure they are out of business, but wanted to know when that happened etc.

WaterCraft like many other (About 25) manufacturers built a few boats and went bankrupt, The 1973 energy crisis doomed most of the marginal Houseboat companies.

Thanks for the information, I figured as much. Loved our 47' Watercraft housboat when I was growing up.
we just missed out on a 50ft. watercraft.it was beautiful and only sold for 39,000.the only thing I didn't like about it was the 351 fords but that's a easy fix.
