Look for soft spots in cabin corners, top, decks and around ALL windows, doors and hatches. Transom and stringers should get special scrutiny. Get a GOOD House Boat experienced surveyor.

Actually Roof top units do a good job in open areas because cold air flows down. The cuddy areas suffer though. How big is the genny?
No generator. Going for sea trial this morning. Hydraulic steering and 1998 mercs 5.7 with throttle body injection. Thoughts on throttle body?
My Brother had a 36 foot HM. He had two Air Conditioners.
A roof top mount, and a water reverse system.
Man he could keep that boat 65 degrees, in July, in Pensacola, in the heat of the day, with 15 people inside.
After a good sea trial I bought the holiday mansion.

I'm not a big fan of the rooftop a/c unit on our boat. It's loud, takes up a lot of deck space on the already small deck of a Holiday Mansion, and requires a large hole to be cut through a balsa cored deck.
