We hope this will be the year we actually get to go cruising, to spend some real time pretending to be boaters. We may not be ready for a long trip, but at least some overnights around the Albemarle.

we do a few 25-35 mile cruises weekly and try to spend a couple nights a week away from the dock. this year we plan on going to wheeling to the italian festival then on up to pittsburgh for a week or 2.

We spent our first New Years Eve aboard our new boat, albeit in her slip. Looking forward to a great season on the water. The Spring to-do list is getting mighty long, but I'm ready to get to it.

After watching all the news of the Carnival Triumph debacle, I am grateful I will be captain on all my future cruises. Plus, I will get to sleep with the co-owner of the vessel!
