Wow - what an adventure by Ted655 and crew.

We did 80 locks as crew on a sailboat from Lake Ontario to NC and ever since have avoided them - mainly because it's just me and wife Suzy and she is disabled and can't help on deck.

Sadly, Ted lost the "Merry Bobber" in a storm not long after his voyage down the Miss (no injuries) and before his plans for Mexico. Not long after that, Ted gave up as well. All of us who remember him, miss him!

You are right about that Mimi. Every now and then I re-read his story, as found at the link above. As you can read, I did continue it to the end.
