I think people are just depressed to be putting the boats up for winter. I know I am.

We're having a perfect week here to be on the water if only the boat were still in the water.

    ---if only there was WATER...

This is my harbor, one of 3 sets of docks. The ends of the dock fingers are tied together with bracing that is 5' below the water's surface. Once you factor in the depth of the mud---

the water is only knee-deep right now...

    Whew!!

    Thought this place was broken.

Guess it is the season to NOT think about boating.

    Thanks for posting.

Even here in the PNW people are putting there boats up for the winter. I pulled mine out last week and it is now in storage. I hate fishing in the rain.

Actually, I was talking to a buddy South of Tampa, they were complaining that it 90 degrees.

Nice thing about the Florida Panhandle, we do get seasons, but our vessels are always ready.
Nothing like a long boat ride, on a cold day, with the heat on.
