    Boat Shows 2020

Who is planning to attend (or has been to) a boat show this year? The wife and I usually visit a couple in Jan - Feb. Not that we're shopping, it helps us shake the winter doldrums. We went to Cincinnati's show on opening night last week. Most interesting thing to me was the new Chaparral jet powered ski boats. I was apparently the last to learn they had been offering Rotax powered boats for several years.

We also suffered sticker shock on a $240K pontoon, but that happens every year. We were a little disappointed in the vendor booths at Cincy this year. Almost none offered boat gadgets and accessories. It seemed like most were promoting retirement property and distant lakes and marinas.

Can anybody report on other shows? We have never tried Knoxville or Nashville.

We have a large one in Orange Beach, AL, about 30 minutes from my Pensacola Home.
I never miss it, as it has a large in water display in the ICW, and of course a large onshore display.

The in water will feature many 1 million and up vessels. Pretty cool to see.

Of course, Seatow always has a discounted package of $99, instead of $179 for unlimited towing.

Edit: I go to the Nashville show and while it's not bad it is oriented to closed lake fishing and pontoons. Amazing what they can do with a pontoon now!
