We are getting our roof repainted this season when warm weather finally gets here. This job got moved up the list after we found some issues over the winter. The company will be using Pitthane, which everybody believes is superior to Gelcoat. Several of our dock neighbors have done this and have been very pleased. The most common report is that it is easier to keep clean, but is dangerously slippery when wet if you're not wearing the correct shoes.

I am concerned about the life span of this coating, because it is darned expensive. Have any of you put Pitthane on your roof? If so, I'd like to hear how long, how it's holding up, any cracks, etc. etc.
