One of highlights of this odd boating season on Lake Cumberland is the rise to fame of a goat. He apparently wanders down to the water's edge from a nearby farm. Billy Goatt (as someone named him on FaceBook), has become one of the top destinations for boaters for most of the summer. People have traveled from all areas of the lake just to see, feed him snacks, and take photos. Hundreds have taken selfies with him or clicked him with their children. There are goats in every petting zoo, but it's more fun to spend $100 worth of gas to go see one from a boat.

Now, he has his own FaceBook page plus a group called the Lake Cumberland Goaters! And ship stores around the lake are selling GOAT t-shirts and mugs. It has been fun to watch.
