We've been blessed with great dock neighbors since arriving over 8 years ago. Our current slip is next to a few families that have boated together for three decades and have forgotten more about houseboating than I will ever know. They welcomed us from the day we pulled into our slip, and have helped us in countless ways.
I hear horror stories about other marinas on our lake and realize how lucky we are. This article from Houseboat Magazine should be required reading by all slip holders. Unfortunately, the trouble makers would be the least likely to take the time to read.
The most common complaint around our marina is people not cleaning up after dogs.
