    1937 American Car and Foundry

This boat caused quite a stir when it was launched on our lake several days ago. It is an 83 year old wooden hull yacht built by American Car and Foundry and is amazing shape. The pilot house was removed for transport from Tennessee to Kentucky. The new owners plan to continue restoration and use it for lake cruises for hire. It has been re-powered with twin Detroit Diesels, which sound great.

According to the Tennessee Yacht Sales Facebook page, it was used in the 1948 movie "Key Largo" belonging to a character played by Edward G. Robinson. It it named "Jett Stream" and previously owned by Jett Williams, daughter of Hank Williams, Sr. It was also used by the Navy to patrol NY harbor during WW2.

I am looking forward to seeing what they do with this boat.
