    Houseboat moving

    I am thinking about buying a houseboat,but it is 180 miles away.
    No trailer and its 47' long.
    Anyone ever mover there boat a distance?
    Aprox what kind of cost am I looking at?

    There are many factors in the cost.
    Does it have an fly bridge / upper helm?
    If so, that needs to be removed to reduce the height, that adds a considerable amount to transporting a vessel.
    From what point to what point are you moving it?
    From a Lake to a Lake, "Land Locked" waters, or can you motor it from location to location, that is always less expensive.

    But to answer costs could be $5,000 to $10,000

    Moving it from one dry docked marina to another lake.
