The American Boatbuilders Association (ABA) and Hubbell Marine recently signed a five-year contract naming Hubbell the exclusive supplier of shore power equipment to the association's list of 12 members. Joe DiMaria, director of marine marketing and sales for Hubbell Marine, made the announcement.  

According to Jay Patton, president of the association, this is the third contract the group has signed with Hubbell.  The relationship between the two began back in 1998, and continues because Hubbell provides high quality products that perform consistently and are dependable.  "Our partnership with Hubbell is a long and solid one," Patton said.  "They continue to deliver the total package and we count on the trust that's been built."  

Boat buyers also benefit from the contract.  Hubbell Marine has been providing electrical products for the marine industry for more than 50 years so consumers know they're getting shore power products from one of the most well-established brands on the market.  That the ABA continues to put its trust in Hubbell means a lot to company officials.  "ABA membership is made up of some the most recognized and respected brands in boating," DiMaria said.  "Their confidence in our products means everything, and we're all looking forward to many more years of working together."
