Twin Anchors Marine has been owned and operated by the same family since 1977, the longest continuous ownership in the industry. Known for its innovation for decades, Twin Anchors continued this tradition in 2012 with the development of the 7522 Coastal. This new boat will be built for both freshwater and saltwater environments and feature new hull alloys and high strength, lightweight composites. The beam was determined by the current 22-foot maximum on Lake Powell in Utah where the first model will likely reside. The Coastal will be “yacht-like,” according to the builder, in both design and performance and will set a new level in houseboat quality and performance.
All Twin Anchors boats feature an exclusive unitized cabin and bridge. Its engineered bridge deck truss system and no bearing interior walls allow for cathedral ceilings and complete freedom with floor plan design.
This unitized construction is also found in the standard equipment hot tub surround and built-in bridge deck seating—all molded in rather than added on. Twin Anchors has both exterior and interior design centers along with in-house transportation. In addition to being NMMA certified, Twin Anchors is an ISO 9000 registered company, assuring customers a quality control system second to none. In 2011 Twin Anchors achieved CE certification, paving the way for a growing market in Europe and Asia. An exhibit at the Korean International boat show in June of 2012 has led to negotiations to build Twin Anchors Houseboats under license in Seoul for the Asian market.

2012 Recap:
Twin Anchors Marine had an excellent year in 2012. As well as the houseboats it has been building for the past 35 years, the addition of accommodation units for the oil, gas and mining industry has allowed this builder to maximize production and keep over 110 people at work in the factory.
