Our houseboat, Zulu, is a wide-beam narrow boat measuring 60 feet by 12 feet. She's called Zulu, just so my husband can do his best Michael Caine impression and say “like Michael Caine in Zulu.” Plus we knew we'd be writing her ourselves and wanted something short without too many curly bits!
