We’ll be kicking off our seventh annual National On Water Expo from June 5-7 at State Dock on Lake Cumberland, Ky! To set off the three-day celebration with a spin, we’re incorporating a Luau theme with fun times sure to carry on well past the scheduled hours of the show.

Come and talk with the exhibitors and houseboat manufacturers while touring dozens of new and used houseboats, run-a-bouts, pontoons, ski boats, and different types of secondary watercrafts. Touring the boats is definitely a highlight of the show. It lets customers see layouts, amenities and other great things in person. The dock is full of excited people looking at the houseboats, which we love to see. If you love houseboating, then the On Water Expo is the only place you will see all of the different boats in one place. 

The vendors also do a great job of bringing out fun boating products and showing people all of the after-market options they have. We’ll also be staffed with insurance and finance companies and houseboat brokers to help answer any questions you might have at the show.

One of the most exciting parts of the Expo is hearing a horn blow because that means a boat has just been sold! We take a lot of pride in bringing in boats at all different price levels so there is something for every budget.

Of course, we’ll also be holding our annual poker run with a boat giveaway destined for the winner and some awesome prizes for the runner-ups. For a sneak peak, check out Airhead and Sportsstuff. Educational seminars such as Bill Burke’s "The Care and Feeding of Your Houseboat—How to protect your investment," and a Captain’s Course for beginner operators are also scheduled throughout the weekend.

Friday and Saturday will end with live entertainment by the Warnermann Boys, a five-piece band starring Terry Wariner and Rick Mann, who perform Southern Rock to Classic Country—with an edge. Check out a video of them here.

There are several overnight options, including State Dock’s “boatels,” their fleet of rental houseboats that are docked on “Houseboat Row” during the Expo and are less expensive than most hotel rooms—especially with the exclusive Expo price they offer. 

Because if you've been there before, that's one thing you know—it's going to be a good time from morning to night, and you'll want to stick around. Plan on joining the Houseboat magazine staff at State Dock the first weekend in June for some serious luau fun!
