With greater protection against the leading causes of shore power failure and fires, corrosion and loose attachments, these plugs also show off a new mounting flange and streamlined cover design and are compatible with SmartPlug’s other products. Double-side locking clips and the sleeved inlet design make for a dependable connection and users can upgrade to a Safety Thermostat, which shuts off power if the inlet becomes overheated and automatically resumes once the temperature cools to a safe level.
