Legacy Lake Yacht

LegacyThe Legacy Lake Yacht is designed to plane through the water with a highly maneuverable hull. Its standard bow thruster helps aid docking in windy conditions. These vessels are distributed exclusively through Kentuckiana Yacht Sales based in Gilbertsville, Ky., whose goal is to provide the luxuries of a lake boat with the performance of a planing hull houseboat.

The parent company Kentuckiana Yacht Sales in Kentucky was founded in 1975. After being the largest Gibson dealer for 17 years, the company decided to bring its own design to the market and the first boat was launched July 4, 2004. With models ranging from 58 to 95 feet, the boats are designed by Legacy Lake Yacht with help from Majestic Yachts. These boats provide similar handling and speed of a fiberglass boat, but with an aluminum hull. That's why this manufacturer builds its boats with a V hull with lifting strakes, along with V Drive propulsion and upgraded navigation and controls standard.

2011 Recap:

Legacy Lake Yacht has been looking at new technology in the sense of making houseboating easier with docking, locking, anchoring and everything else. So when the economy comes back this manufacturer will be ready.
