Beautiful Trinity Lake

November 2016 Marina Colin Peterson Web Exclusive

Not everyone might know it, but Trinity Lake is one of the most genuine boating destinations in Northern California. Nestled in the middle of Shasta-Trinity National Forest and located one and a half hours from Redding, this quiet, beautiful lake is nothing but over 140 miles of shore full of carefree fun and relaxation. Whether you waterski, tube, or fish, this lake provides the necessary amenities for spending any fun activity on the water. It also features a large number of tree-lined inlets and hidden coves, perfect for camping a houseboat.

The Trinity Lake Resort Marina offers houseboat rentals with five different vessels to choose from, ranging in length from 50 to 60 feet. All houseboats come with a full kitchen, bedrooms and linens, and a grill among many other things you're used to using at home. The larger houseboats come with more amenities, but all vessels are sure to serve your needs well on a long vacation here. Don't think you can only come here during the summer; pleasant temperatures during the spring and fall make it fun to enjoy the flower blossoms and fall colors around the lake. Plus, the surrounding region has so many fun activities to enjoy, including hiking, river rafting, and horseback riding. With plenty to do and see, you won't waste time here. In fact, many who come here never want to leave.

More information can be found on the Trinity Lake Resort website.
