Jones Valley Resort is cupped by the Shasta-Trinity National Forest on the Pit River right off of Shasta Lake, Calif. A floating recreational center has everything from ping-pong to basketball and the fully-stocked marina store takes care of the rest. Rentals range from the 10-person Executive to the triple-deck Titan, any of which would make for a delightful way to explore Shasta Lake’s countless islands and 360 miles of mountain-peaked shoreline.  

For example, the Executive does a great job accommodating smaller groups with two full bathrooms and a roomy galley for making yourself at home. Two refrigerators, a grill, and a waterslide add some nice touches onboard.

For large groups, the 65-foot Titan rental really pulls out all the stops with a fireplace, home theater system with surround sound, tracking satellite for the TV, sunken hot tub, enclosed spiral tube waterslide, and a designer wet bar with a temperature-controlled wine cabinet. This houseboat can sleep 22 people in comfort with room for up to 26 people onboard. Don’t worry about being able to accommodate everyone, because four refrigerators, several staterooms, and eight HD flatscreen TVs do a pretty good job of that.
