Lake Huron Houseboat

The Island on Lake Huron

November 2017 Feature Web Exclusive

MOS Architects took floating homes to the next level. Michael Meredith and Hilary Sample designed this spectacular houseboat to float upon Lake Huron.

It was first built offsite and then floated 80 kilometers to its permanent location on the lake. The Architects designed it so that it would be able to handle the fluctuations of Lake Huron. These residents will never have an offseason. The architects described the floating home as an Island on Lake Huron.

What a place to live!
