A stolen ski boat was way off course on the Sacramento River, about 2 miles south of the I-5 overpass. The boat sustained extensive damage to its rudder and prop.
With National Safe Boating Week starting next Saturday, the Coast Guard Auxiliary wants to remind all boaters about the need to maintain a proper lookout at all times, and always wear a life jacket.
