HydraNautics has introduced a new, innovative way to steer your houseboat. The steering system allows houseboat owners to make turns without ever touching the wheel with a simple push of a button on a key fob remote, or by using a joystick control. Houseboat owners with HydraNautics stern thrusters are able to use a remote to steer their boat by activating the thruster. But now instead of activating the thruster, owners can turn the outdrives.

Many houseboats are equipped with hydraulic steering and HydraNautics uses the existing system with a specially built pump that can be activated by the wireless fob remote or joystick and turn the rudders or outdrive in any direction you choose to go. While HydraNautics steering system is disengaged, the steering wheel works as it normally would.
